Hey there.
Are you struggling to find comprehensive and easy to follow analyses of the AS Literature poetry section Songs of Ourselves, Part 1? I'm not surprised. There is hardly any information available to students or teachers about these poems, but help has arrived!
I have complied notes for all of these poems in a simple, easy to read format. Each of the 32 poems has two to three pages of analysis broken down into topics of Summary, Theme, Point of View, Language and Tone, Imagery, and Shape and Pattern. There are examples from the text of each topic, along with an exploration of their effects on the reader.
There is not a lot of waffle, so you can take the information and incorporate your own writing/teaching style without fear of being accused of plagerism.
For an example of these notes, click the link at the top-left of the page where you will find the analysis of Lady Mary Wroth's Sonnet 11. Every poem in this collection is broken down in the same clear format.
I have sold quite a number of these notes in the past, and there are several reviews listed here as well if you're worried. Just click the link on the top-left of this page to see what others have said about them.
As neither teachers nor students have access to comprehensive analyses of these poems via a text book, a web-site, or any other form you can think of, these will ease some of the burden for a measly $5. If you think that these may help you, follow these instructions:
a) Click on the following link:
http://www.e-junkie.com/aspoetry/product/507140.php
b) Click the ‘Add to Cart’ button that appears near the bottom of the page on the left hand side.
c) Hit the ‘Check out with PayPal’ button and follow their instructions.
d) After hitting the ‘Complete Purchase’ button, you will be taken back to the e-junkie page and you should see a message that says this: “Click here to download Summaries Poetry Pt1 SoO CIEAS” Do that, and afterwards, you should be all set.
You will also get an e-mail from e-junkie sent to your PayPal account e-mail address. You can also click on the link they provide to download the file.
WARNING: You have only got one hour or three attempts to download the file from the time of purchase. My advice: download it straight away.
If you have any problems with any of this, send me an e-mail at the address below, and I’ll try to help you out as best I can.
